A wallet is just an app (like MetaMask) that holds your money and lets you approve transactions. Nobody, including ORYN, can move funds from it without you personally approving each action.

cUSD is a digital dollar (1 cUSD ≈ $1) that runs on Celo, a fast, low-cost payment network. It's the currency ORYN actually moves.

Non-custodial means ORYN never holds or controls your money. It only has permission to execute a split you already approved, and that permission can never be used to send funds anywhere you didn't authorize.

  • A wallet that can connect to a website (MetaMask or similar), which will prompt you to add Celo automatically if needed.
  • A little CELO for gas: a fraction of a cent covers it.
  • cUSD for the amount you're paying. Don't have any? Swap CELO for cUSD non-custodially at app.mento.org, or ask whoever you're paying for their vault's address.
